Ko te tumanako ka kite pai koe i tenei. I hope this finds you well.
This afternoon the Prime Minister announced a continuation of current alert levels for the next week, but in principle, Auckland will move to Alert Level 3 at 11:59pm on Tuesday 21 September. The rest of New Zealand will remain in Alert Level 2. Cabinet will review the alert level settings for all of the country next Monday 20 September.
Tomorrow the ministry of education will email a comprehensive guidance for preparing and operating at Alert Level 3 and I will be able to give you more specific information on what that will look like in the next few days.
Thank you for your support during level 4. If your children are getting frustrated or anxious remember that sometimes a step away from online learning and some down time may be the answer for you and your children. What works for you and your family is the best course of action.
Take care and I will be in contact over the next few days.
