Kia ora, Bienvenue, Welcome
To promote the education and well-being of Birkdale North School’s (BNS) students through nurturing cooperative relationships between parents, teachers and the community.
What We Do?
We aim to help facilitate a link between students, whanau, teachers and our community as well as support our school to give our children and future children extra educational experiences and resources.
The PTA of Birkdale North School is a great way to meet other parents.
We would love to hear any fundraising ideas you may have or if there is something you would like to see in your child’s classroom or around school.
The PTA of Birkdale North School is a registered charity so we discuss at the PTA committee meetings where we would like to see the money we raise spent. We do this by working closely with our Principal and Board of Trustees.
Come along have your say and get involved!
Parent and Teacher raised funds have recently gone towards items such as 20 ukuleles, 5 tuners and a ball air compressor pump for our school as well as the Year 6 Leavers movie and picnic day. We are currently working with the school to support plans to bring new IT resources to our classrooms.
The PTA aims to support a variety of resources and experiences for the students of BNS. Come to our next meeting to have your say about what you would like to see parent and teacher raised funds spent on and help us make this a reality!
