Birkdale North Music Centre
Birkdale North Music Centre is funded by the Ministry of Education and provides kids with inexpensive music classes held on Saturday mornings. The Music Centre is for all children from school year 1 to year 8. We teach recorder, keyboard, clarinet, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, flute, violin, cello, guitar, drum, ukulele and vocal classes. The children can also join our choir, orchestra and jazz band. The annual membership fee for tuition is $100 per instrument. Every student can give athletics a go.
Our local athletics club is welcoming new members now and we encourage students to get involved and get active.

CHRISTMAS TOY SWAP!
Coming up on Saturday November 23rd we have a TOY SWAP happening at Birkdale Community House from 10am until 2pm - in conjunction with our Kaipātiki Repair Cafe and Community Market.
Bring your great condition toys in to one of the Kaipātiki Community Houses (Birkdale, Beach Haven, Bayview, Highbury or Glenfield) during staffed hours and receive tokens to bring in on the 23rd to swap for some toys.
Only toys in excellent condition accepted - no soft toys unless still in original packaging. Keep Christmas affordable and sustainable this year and get involved with this awesome kaupapa!
